Sister Tammy Rogers
Mission LeaderSister Tammy Rogers serves alongside her husband in the Idaho Falls Mission. She was born and raised in McKinney, Texas, where she developed a deep love for faith, family, and community.
As a young woman, Sister Rogers sincerely searched for truth and gained a personal witness of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. Acting on that witness shaped her life and strengthened her relationships with her family over time.
She later attended Rick’s College (now BYU–Idaho). She and President Rogers are the parents of five children—all of whom have served missions—and grandparents to fourteen grandchildren. Her greatest joy is her family and the eternal perspective the gospel brings.
Before her mission call, she was an avid tennis player and willingly set that aside to serve when the opportunity came.
Today, Sister Rogers serves with gratitude and conviction, helping others recognize the Savior’s love and act on spiritual promptings as they draw closer to Jesus Christ.
