President Rainey Rogers
Mission LeaderPresident Rainey S. Rogers Sr. serves as Mission President of the Idaho Falls Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, alongside his wife, Sister Tammy Rogers. They are the parents of five children and are originally from McKinney, Texas.
As a young man, President Rogers was an accomplished amateur boxer, winning two Golden Gloves Championships and three additional amateur titles. He later built a successful career in wealth management, helping families prepare for the future with wisdom and foresight.
He enjoys beekeeping, hiking, boxing, and outdoor adventures. He values experiences that build faith, resilience, and gratitude for God’s creations. President Rogers previously served as a missionary in the England Birmingham Mission and has served in many Church callings, including bishop, high councilor, elders quorum president, seminary teacher, Primary teacher, branch presidency counselor, and trek manager.
Throughout his life, he has recognized the Lord’s guiding hand preparing him to lead and serve. Today, President Rogers serves with steady faith and devotion, helping others come unto Jesus Christ and strengthen their relationship with Him.
